Description
To participate in the Blitz Twister Cup Preliminaries, each team member should have a Grand Championships Ticket for Tier IX–X vehicles. These tickets were awarded in Gold Series IX–X tournaments from 19 July to 13 September 2017.Tournament timing in World of Tanks Blitz (server: EU): from 22 September through 26 September. Matches start on 22 September at 19:00 (UTC +2).
Match start time: 19:00 (UTC+2), daily.
Registration: from 18 September 18:00 (UTC+2) through 21 September 18:00 (UTC+2).
System: First Group Stage—Single Elimination (groups), Second Group Stage—Round Robin (groups), Online Finals—Double Elimination.
Team Requirements
The team must include at least 7 players in the Party, and up to 3 reserve players. At least 5 players must participate in a battle. Note: only 7 players from the team will be allowed to participate in the offline stage of the Blitz Twister Cup tournament.
Vehicle tier: X
Battle time: 7 minutes.
Battle mode: Supremacy.
Persons under the legal age can participate in the offline stage only with a parent or guardian's official consent. Persons under 16 years of age are not allowed to participate.
Battle format
First Group Stage (Single Elimination system): 64 teams, 16 in every group. Teams that rank 1st and 2nd in their group get to the next stage. Battle format: Bo3. Maps: ⅛: Middleburg, Castilla; ¼: Fort Despair, Himmelsdorf; ½: Castilla, Winter Malinovka; finals: Canal, Desert Sands.
Second Group Stage (Round Robin system): 8 teams, 4 in every group. Battle format: Bo1. Teams that rank 1st and 2nd in their group get to the next stage. If several teams rank 1st and/or 2nd place in a group, a tie-break is played between the rival teams on the next day to determine the winner. Tie-break conditions are described in the full regulations. Maps: Round 1: Canyon, Round 2: Middleburg, Round 3: Canal.
Online Finals (Double Elimination system): 8 teams (4 teams from the Second Group Stage and 4 teams under Wild Card). Battle format: Bo5, Final: Bo7. The team that ranks 1st in this stage will advance to the offline stage of the Blitz Twister Cup, which will be held on 11 November 2017 in Minsk (venue: Prime Hall).

The prize fund of the Blitz Twister Cup Preliminaries is indicated in the Rewards tab of the current Tournament. A team that wins the final match of the Online Finals will be invited to the offline finals of the Blitz Twister Cup. If the Team fails to submit the data requested by the Organizer by 10 October 2017 (the data will be requested via private message on the forum) or the Team does not comply with the Offline Stage Regulations for the Blitz Twister Cup, the slot may be transferred to the next Team at the Organizer’s discretion.
